Project Description

JSE performed bridge inspection and rehabilitation plans for the Meridian Street Bridge over White River in Indianapolis.  The bridge is a 700’-long under-fill arch.  JSE found that the arch and east spandrel wall had heavy deterioration and requires replacement.  The inspection included corrosion analysis, calculating corrosion rates, chloride analysis and petrography tests.  Rehab plans consisted of replacement of east spandrel wall, portion of the archering, new bridge deck, and hand rails.
