Project Description

JSE performed inspection on both eastbound and westbound US 52 Bridges. The eastbound bridge is a 983-foot long, nine-span, steel Deck Truss that was built in 1936.  The westbound bridge is a 1003-foot long, nine-span, steel girder bridge that was built in 1969.  JSE created rehabilitation plans that include the following:

  • Deck repairs, new expansion joints, and deck drain replacement
  • Retrofits to connections
  • New approach slabs and approach railing
